Body Traps have a single spring, measure 5” x 5” and are made of heavy gauge steel. Being the perfect size for muskrats, body traps are used around denning areas and on the travel routes (slides) commonly used by the muskrats. In general, setting 2 to 3 body traps within a given area will allow you to quickly rid your lake/pond of these destructive animals.

When setting these traps, simply compress the spring and set the key into the groove located on the trigger. Next, place the trap where you wish to make the set and stake down the trap via the connected chain. Check the traps daily and remove the deceased animals as soon as possible.
